[K-MTN TV]

I thought I would start by introducing myself.

My name is Michael McKinney and I am the owner of Lake Tahoe's local television station. (est.1984)

I know that this may sound false, but K-MTN TV was one of the first TV sites on the web, the first to offer webcams, and the first to stream news, shows and events.

If there was a true know it all of how it all began, that person would know of K-MTN TV and the original owner, Mike Conway.

Mike Conway was my mentor for many years. Mike conway was the leading pioneer streaming Live television using T1 lines from his house to the local cable provider using an external analog to digital encoder/decoder. He then began to use his knowledge and the almighty dollar to design a website to upload webcam images of the Lake Tahoe area.

I was hired and began to stream show using the original Realproducer and Microsofts first media encoder.

Here I am 9+ years later as the owner of K-MTN TV still proving the WEB with Information about Lake Tahoe.
